Raised 246 million euros on the military: how businessman and debtor Vladyslav Volodskyi failed to deliver food supplies for the Ukrainian Armed Forces
25.07.2024 22:31Ukrainians in Europe “can be subjected to conditions of stay that will encourage them to fulfill their obligations to protect their homeland.”
This statement was made by Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski on RMF24.
According to him, a discussion is underway at the European Union level about the extradition to Ukraine of Ukrainian men suspected of evading mobilization.
“We, as European countries, must also help. Hundreds of thousands of potential conscripts, obligated to defend their homeland, are in EU countries, and Poland is at the forefront of helping Ukraine prepare these people for military service,” the minister said.
Let us recall that the Ukrainian Ambassador to Moldova, Mark Shevchenko, reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is negotiating to achieve the extradition of at least those Ukrainian citizens who have not documented their stay in Moldova.
Earlier, the Prime Minister of the German state of Bavaria and the chairman of the CSU party, Markus Söder, stated that they could “send” Ukrainian men of conscription age back to their homeland “if Ukraine requests it.”
