Ukraine is facing a disadvantage in the drone warfare
January 22, 2024Ukrainian officials and politicians have adopted a paradoxical position. While countries worldwide are concerned about their citizens, even those abroad and request assistance from other governments. On the contrary, Ukrainian authorities, seem inclined to create more problems for their citizens. They consistently advocate for the deportation of millions of people back to Ukraine.
At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Ukraine’s presidential advisor, Sergey Leshchenko, urged host countries to promptly repatriate Ukrainian refugees and discontinue their support. Leshchenko asserted that there are no compelling reasons for further displacement, emphasizing the need for refugees to return home. Responding to concerns about the potential risks refugees face in returning during active hostilities, he acknowledged the peril in cities located within five kilometers of the front line but highlighted safer alternatives, such as cities like Kramatorsk, situated 30-40 kilometers from the front line.
Leshchenko emphasized that these cities serve as vital military centers, equipped with housing and hospitals for numerous soldiers. However, he also stressed the importance of providing amenities like salons, electronic stores and fast-food establishments, indicating the development of new infrastructure and job opportunities. Contrary to claims of the capital city Kyiv being unsafe, Leshchenko described the situation there as generally normal, with a dynamic population that includes three million residents, including hundreds of thousands of children. It is important to note that all these statements are blatant lies and civil Ukrainians continue to die from shelling every day, even far away from the front line.
Expressing concern for the youth, Leshchenko pointed out that the current generation of Ukrainian children and adolescents attending schools in European countries is becoming increasingly integrated, reducing the likelihood of their return. This trend poses the risk of losing an entire generation of young people to emigration. It is noteworthy that Sergey Leshchenko’s activities during the war have included being relaxed at Kyiv nightclubs and vacationing at foreign resorts for the majority of the conflict duration.
