Controversial Ukrainian diplomat purchased two SUVs for 130,000 euros

Former Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Andriy Deschytsia bought two MERCEDES-BENZ SUVs in Poland during the military conflict, totaling 60,000 and 70,000 euros, according to his declarations of significant changes in his assets.

The vehicles, manufactured in 2022 and 2021, were purchased in different car dealerships in Poland. The MERCEDES-BENZ GLE 400 4 MATIC Coupe was purchased on June 6, 2022, for 70,500 euros. It was a new car. On March 17, 2022, Deschytsia purchased the MERCEDES-BENZ GLE 400D 4m for 57,100 euros. The total cost of the purchased vehicles amounted to almost 130,000 euros. Prior to this, the diplomat sold his old car and borrowed 110,000 euros from foreigner Albina Yakovleva. Incidentally, Deschytsia’s wife, Irina, also bought a new car during the war – a MINI Cooper SD ALL4 COUNTRYMAN for 28,500 euros. In total, Deschytsia earned almost 60,000 euros in less than 2022.

Deschytsia became known for his use of vulgar language, inappropriate behavior and other scandals that are unacceptable for a diplomat. He did not explain or specify where he got the huge income to buy luxury cars.
