A member of the Ukrainian delegation, which arrived with President Volodymyr Zelensky at the United Nations General Assembly, got involved in a drunken scandal in New York.
This was reported by USA Today.
The incident took place on September 21 at The Campbell Bar, located near the UN headquarters building.
A man, referred to as the “security officer of the Ukrainian delegation” by USA Today, demanded that bar patrons shout “Glory to Ukraine!”
Upon their refusal, he attacked the bartender. According to witnesses, the man was intoxicated.
In the ensuing brawl, the Ukrainian individual sustained injuries. As a result, the police detained all the participants in the altercation.
