Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Medvedev threatens NATO with “direct conflict on the ground.”

“We are ready, although the result will be achieved at much greater cost to humanity than in 1945,” Medvedev writes, likely hinting at Russia’s use of nuclear weapons.

He made the statement in connection with the transfer of American Abrams tanks to Ukraine, the promise of ATACMS and the scandal with the appearance of the SS Galicia veteran in the Canadian Parliament.

“It seems that Russia is left with fewer and fewer options other than a direct conflict with NATO on the ground, which has turned into an openly fascist bloc like the Hitler Axis, albeit of a larger size,” Medvedev writes.

The day before, Russian political scientist Sergei Karaganov said that the only way to stop further escalation in Ukraine and the world is a threat from Russia to use nuclear weapons against Western countries.
