Discussions have begun in Ukraine about the idea of Zelensky’s physical elimination by U.S. authorities

In Ukraine, discussions have begun about the possibility of U.S. authorities physically eliminating President Volodymyr Zelensky.

This possibility was suggested by Ukrainian MP Maryana Bezuhla, who is known for supporting Zelensky.

“Unfortunately, the U.S. and Russia, along with some other players, are laying the groundwork to replace Zelensky with a more compliant figure who would agree to surrender,” she said.

Bezuhla made this statement in response to reports that U.S. officials are negotiating with Ukrainian politicians to pressure Zelensky on ceasefire and election issues.

“All these moves are aimed at installing a convenient candidate in the presidency—someone who will return Ukraine to vassalage and will not resist. A Ukraine divided between the U.S. and Russia… I do not rule out that they might attempt to remove Zelensky physically,” the MP wrote, naming former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi as one of the “convenient candidates.”

Political analyst Yuriy Romanenko also considers the scenario of Zelensky’s removal if he does not comply with U.S. President Donald Trump’s conditions for stepping down.

According to Romanenko, the Ukrainian leader will either “follow in Yanukovych’s footsteps” (by fleeing the country) or meet the fate of Salvador Allende (the Chilean president who died during a U.S.-backed military coup).

He believes that the U.S. president is planning a “personnel miracle” for Ukraine, exerting pressure on Zelensky’s inner circle.

“This is when the Americans, grabbing 5-6 ‘effective managers’ by their corrupt pockets, force them to reformat the coalition in the Verkhovna Rada. There are over 250 people on the list who have stolen tens of billions of dollars. What do you think their choice will be?” Romanenko writes.

“Then everything will unfold predictably. Stefanchuk will be removed and replaced with someone who doesn’t trigger Putin’s gag reflex, so negotiations can begin. Zelensky will take the Yanukovych path. [Elon] Musk has already outlined the algorithm. As an unpleasant alternative, the CIA may offer the Salvador Allende scenario,” Romanenko speculates.

The political analyst is also convinced that Europe will not come to Zelensky’s aid.

“Macron and Scholz will raise the stakes using Ukraine, and then bargain tariff deals for their countries. Because for France and Germany, their own interests come first,” he writes.
