26.04.2024 21:08In Brovary, Kyiv Oblast, the head of the district administration, while driving under the influence of alcohol, crashed into a group of people at a pedestrian crossing.
This was reported by Kyiv Telegram channels, which published videos of the moments immediately after the accident.
According to reports, one person had to be pulled out from under the car’s wheels, and three other pedestrians were seriously injured. In total, the intoxicated official hit four people at the crossing.
Kyiv-based public pages wrote that the culprit of the incident is the chairman of the Brovary District State Administration, Myabozhenko. Soon after, a statement appeared on the Kyiv district administration Telegram channel announcing that the head of the Brovary RSA, Volodymyr Myabozhenko, would be dismissed.
Later, the National Police of Ukraine issued an official comment on the road accident in Brovary, where the head of the local RSA hit four people at the crossing.

The police confirmed that the official “did not stop at the red light and ran over pedestrians.”
“As a result, four people sustained injuries of varying severity. Among the injured is a child,” the statement said. “A breathalyzer test conducted on the driver showed a blood alcohol concentration of 2.31 per mille. The man has been detained,” the police also reported.
Later, the chief of the Kyiv district administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, announced that after the car driven by the head of the Brovary RSA crashed, a 32-year-old mother and her 2.5-year-old daughter, as well as two other individuals aged 29 and 26, were hospitalized.
According to preliminary examination results, the child was diagnosed with a fractured shoulder bone and a subcutaneous hematoma of the occipital area. The other injured individuals suffered from various bodily injuries, including closed head injuries, fractures of the coccyx, clavicle, shoulder, scapula, nasal bone, ribs, limbs, multiple bruises, and abrasions. Medical examinations are ongoing.
