The future Secretary of State under Trump stated that he will ‘ensure peace through strength’
November 14, 2024Entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk is reportedly beginning to frustrate some people in President-elect Donald Trump’s circle, acting “as if he is a co-president.”
This information was reported by NBC News, citing sources.
Following the Republican’s victory, Musk has been frequently present at Trump’s residence, “aggressively pushing his views,” having an opinion “on every issue,” “making sure everyone knows about it,” and even promoting his own people.
“But appointing people loyal to Elon isn’t working,” a source stated.
Trump’s longtime associates believe that Musk is overstepping his designated role.
“He takes much of the credit for the president’s victory. He boasts about America PAC (a super PAC created by Musk with participation from several prominent tech industry businessmen to support Trump’s presidential campaign) to anyone willing to listen. He is trying to make President Trump feel indebted to him. But the president owes no one,” the source added.
Sources noted that this behavior could damage Musk’s reputation in the future.
It is worth noting that the businessman supported an audit of American aid to Ukraine after the end of the war.
According to media reports, Musk, alongside Vivek Ramaswamy, will lead the new U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under the Trump administration.
