Zelensky again spoke out against holding elections during the war
February 10, 2025
“Zelensky admitted the disappearance of Western aid and signed his own sentence,” – Medvedchuk said
February 10, 2025U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the Munich Security Conference.
This was reported by CBS News, citing its sources.
The Munich conference will begin on February 14 and last until February 16.
The White House had previously announced that Vance would be traveling to Munich to discuss Ukraine.
Even before Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential election, Vance had proposed ending the war along the front line, abandoning Ukraine’s NATO membership bid, and creating a demilitarized zone along the front line. He also suggested shifting the burden of aiding Kyiv onto European countries.
At the time, Zelensky called this plan “dangerous” and stated that he “does not take Vance’s words seriously.”
However, judging by many indications, this peace formula is now being considered by Trump as the primary approach.
Notably, U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz recently stated that after the war ends, Ukraine’s security guarantees will be the responsibility of Europe.
