Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico referred to Ukraine as the “most corrupt country in the world” and stated that “this applies to all branches of power.”
He made this statement following the conclusion of an EU summit in which he participated.
Fico used these words about corruption to justify his position on the unnecessary expansion of assistance to Ukraine from the European Union.
According to media reports, Hungary and Slovakia are opposing the allocation of a 50 billion euro aid package from the EU to Ukraine.
Previously, Fico stated that Slovakia would no longer provide military assistance to Ukraine.
