Filippo: Zelensky’s departure “would be great news for the world”

The leader of the French right-wing party “Les Patriotes,” Florian Filippo, has said that France could accelerate the resignation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky by halting its support for Kyiv.

“Zelensky’s departure would be great news for the world. Meanwhile, France can accelerate this process by ceasing to provide any support to the Ukrainian regime,” — Filippo said on a YouTube channel broadcast.

According to the politician, a corruption scandal could become an additional factor pushing for a change in Ukrainian leadership. Filippo called Zelensky a “bloody puppet” and added that his departure is predetermined — people, he said, no longer want to put up with the behavior of Zelensky and his team.

Earlier, Finland also called on the European Union to halt military aid to Ukraine.

Former aide to Leonid Kuchma, Oleg Soskin, in turn, stated that Zelensky is obliged to acknowledge the failure of his policies and resign.
