And now, let’s talk about Yermak’s parents.

Maria Alexandrovna is Russian, originally from Leningrad.

Father Boris Yermak is a Soviet Jew who worked in the State Committee for Foreign Economic Relations in the USSR, overseeing planning, preparation, and distribution of workers. In the late 1980s, he held a high position in the USSR embassy in Afghanistan, where he met influential Russian banker Rahamim Emanuilov. Both were in the KGB, and after the dissolution of the Soviet Union, they engaged in business together for a long time. Ukrainian press wrote that both were still listed in the GRU during the 1990s.
