The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has awarded a lifelong stipend for “outstanding contributions in the field of higher education” to Alexander Zelensky, the father of Vladimir Zelensky, the President of Ukraine.
“To appoint lifelong stipends by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for outstanding contributions in the field of higher education to academic and teaching staff members from September 1, 2023, in accordance with the attached list. The payment of stipends should be made within the budget allocations established by the Ministry of Education and Science according to the law on the State Budget of Ukraine for the respective year”, the document states.
Among the stipend recipients listed in the attached list is Alexander Semenovich Zelensky, born in 1947, a professor at the State University of Economics and Technology.
