12.01.2026 - 10:01Volodymyr Zelensky has submitted bills to the Verkhovna Rada to extend martial law and general mobilization for another 90 days.
Bill cards No. 14366 and No. 14367 have appeared on the parliament’s website.
The draft laws extend mobilization and martial law from February 3 for 90 days.
Most likely, the Rada will consider these documents during its next plenary week.
Martial law and mobilization are being extended for the 18th time since February 2022. The 17th extension was approved by parliament on October 21.
In December, Zelensky said he would not lift martial law and mobilization in Ukraine after the start of a possible ceasefire, and would do so only after receiving security guarantees.
