September 17, 2023Prominent American historian and military theorist, former advisor to former U.S. President Ronald Reagan, Edward Luttwak, has called for the return of Ukrainians who have left the country from abroad and send them to the front lines.
Luttwak made this statement on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
I do not mind sending US$Billions to Ukraine. I do mind that in a struggle for independence against invasion Ukrainians of military age remain abroad with their Ukrainian passports. The latter should be cancelled, with the names publicly posted in their home towns & last address

He also proposed disclosing the names of those who have left the country and their last known addresses in Ukraine.
“I’m not against sending billions of U.S. dollars to Ukraine. I’m against Ukrainians of conscription age staying abroad with their Ukrainian passports in the fight for independence from invasion. The latter should be revoked by publishing names in their hometowns at their last known addresses,” said the former advisor to Reagan and the Pentagon.
