Kyiv court sentences single mother to five years for criticizing Zelensky on social media
16.06.2026 19:09Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Ihor Mosіychuk has stated that Ukraine’s transport logistics have been destroyed by Russian strikes by 70–80%, and warned of serious consequences for the country’s economy.
He made the statement on the MayakUA video channel.
“The fact that logistics have been destroyed by 70–80% — everyone is silent about this. Farmers are already raising the alarm: there will be no one to transport the grain,” Mosіychuk said.
According to him, the problem is barely discussed publicly despite the scale of the destruction. Mosіychuk specifically pointed to the large-scale destruction of railway rolling stock.
One possible solution being considered is the involvement of private rolling stock in Ukrzaliznytsia’s operations. According to Mosіychuk, businessman Rinat Akhmetov has expressed willingness to purchase rolling stock for the railways.
“This is a way out, because transport logistics are dying, but we must clearly understand that it will lead to the corporatization of Ukrzaliznytsia. No one will do this for nothing,” the deputy concluded.
Mosіychuk stressed that attracting private capital into rail transport may be a necessary measure to preserve the country’s logistics capacity, but will entail structural changes in the operations of the state railway company.
Earlier, Ukrzaliznytsia reported a train fire following a drone attack on the railway station in Sumy.
