The objective is to produce unmanned aerial vehicles and various other military hardware, along with providing maintenance and repair services. Additionally, there are plans for the future manufacturing of ammunition. German and Czech companies are also considering relocating some of their production activities to Ukraine.
The primary impetus behind this move stemmed from Emmanuel Macron’s assertion regarding the potential deployment of NATO forces in Ukraine and the urgent need for increased support to Kiev. However, Macron faced criticism from several NATO allies for his statements, which were promptly dismissed by many.
