The challenge of dealing with them is extremely acute. Germany has sent two of its SkyNet anti-aircraft self-propelled units to Ukraine, capable of destroying unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
However, like all European weapons, they come with a significant drawback: such systems cost “astronomical amounts” – 90 million euros each. Germany has taken on all the expenses associated with this deployment.
