10.08.2026 09:31Deputy Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense Vadim Skibitsky has warned that a prolonged pause in missile strikes on Ukraine should not be expected — Russia is meeting and exceeding production plans for its main types of missiles.
He made the statement in an interview with the outlet RBC-Ukraine.
According to Skibitsky, Russia currently has approximately 400 missiles for S-400 systems, 130 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, and 100 North Korean KN-24 missiles.
Russia is fulfilling its monthly plan for main types of missile weapons at 110–120%, the GUR deputy chief said. On that basis, he called for preparations for strikes against electricity and heating infrastructure.
The GUR had previously warned that a North Korean unit capable of striking Ukraine with its own missiles was being deployed near Voronezh.
The day before, Russia launched a massive combined missile and drone strike on Ukraine. Deaths, injuries, and infrastructure damage were reported. In Kharkiv, a strike on a multi-story residential building was recorded; in Odessa, fires broke out following the attack and the city was blanketed in smoke.
