‘He is deliberately destabilizing the front’. MP Bezuhla criticized Commander Syrskyi for withdrawing a Ukrainian Armed Forces brigade from Vuhledar

Member of the Defense Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Maryana Bezuhla, has made another critical statement against the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi.

She posted the statement on her Telegram channel.

“I have received numerous desperate appeals from military personnel who report that Syrskyi is withdrawing the 72nd Brigade from Vuhledar. This brigade has been repelling attacks there for two years and knows the terrain well. The Russians are already aware of this and are preparing accordingly. This will be a disaster, similar to what happened in Toretsk and New York (the village in Donetsk region), when the 24th Brigade was withdrawn from there. It feels like he is deliberately destabilizing the front,” the MP wrote.

Previously, Bezuhla accused Syrskyi of surrendering Novohrodivka and Selydove without a fight. She also mentioned that Ukrainian Armed Forces units are being withdrawn from the Donetsk region, leaving entire sections of the front line vulnerable. In her view, “Syrskyi is elevating the war to a new level of maneuvering reminiscent of World War II, where the stakes involve losing or gaining entire regions.”
