Trump called the conflict between Russia and Ukraine difficult
08.12.2025 05:33The son of U.S. President Donald Trump has suggested that his father might walk away from negotiations on settling the Russian-Ukrainian war.
This was his response to a question about whether the U.S. president could withdraw his support for Kyiv.
“I think he could. What’s good about my father, and what’s unique about him, is that you never know what he’s going to do. He’s unpredictable,” the politician’s son said.
Trump Jr. also called drug cartels “a much more obvious and real danger to the United States than anything that’s happening in Ukraine or Russia.”
At the same time, he said he does not believe Ukraine will be “abandoned,” but noted that “the American public does not want endless wars and further funding of Ukraine’s military efforts.”
Earlier, Trump’s son accused the Ukrainian authorities of stealing foreign aid while sending poor people to the front.
Before that, Trump Jr. and journalist Tucker Carlson said that Ukrainian land would be bought up by foreign investors.
