12.11.2025 21:01Ukraine’s energy minister Svitlana Hrynchuk has submitted her resignation following the corruption scandal over shadow earnings at Energoatom.
She announced this on her Facebook page.
“Office has never been an end in itself for me. I am grateful to President Volodymyr Zelensky, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and members of parliament for the opportunity to work for the state, which I have done for the past 10 years in various public service positions, starting as a chief specialist. The law. In my professional activity there were no violations of legislation. Such facts cannot exist in principle,” the post says.
She also commented on the SAPO representative’s claim that she had stayed overnight at her predecessor Herman Halushchenko’s home.
“As for the conjecture regarding my personal relationships, any speculation on this topic is inappropriate. There must be limits to everything. In the end, time will put everything in its place,” Hrynchuk wrote.
According to media reports, journalists called Hrynchuk to clarify the topic of her relationship with Halushchenko separately.
“I haven’t heard anything about that,” she replied and hung up.
As a reminder, Volodymyr Zelensky today recorded a video address devoted entirely to the corruption scandal involving Tymur Mindich. He said that Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko and Hrynchuk should be dismissed due to their involvement in Mindich’s corruption schemes.
