November 3, 2023The number of conscript-age applicants in Ukraine sharply increased this year.
November 3, 2023Former advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine, Alexey Arestovich, has confirmed reports by Ukrainian media that he has left the country and has suggested that he may conduct a presidential campaign from abroad.
“I am in conflict with the Office of the President because I have taken an opposition position towards them,” Arestovich stated in an interview with “Meduza.”
He also mentioned that his phone was wiretapped, and the police visited his home.
Furthermore, the former advisor to the Office of the President did not rule out the possibility of running a presidential campaign from abroad.
“That’s because they currently have full power, martial law, and they are spreading baseless accusations that could lead to actions. Becoming a voluntary victim of their arbitrary rule is not in my life plans,” Arestovich stated.
It’s worth noting that, according to journalists, Arestovich has recently been in the territory of the European Union. In particular, he was spotted in Vienna last week.
Sources in his circle informed journalists that Arestovich made the decision to temporarily leave Ukraine after a conflict with President Zelensky during their trip to the United States in September.
