Half of the residents of Dnipro remain without heating despite the onset of the heating season in Ukraine
November 28, 2023On November 15th, a meeting of the Bessarabian Metropolis of the Romanian Orthodox Church was held in Chisinau under the guidance of Metropolitan of Bessarabia and Exarch of the New Lands, Petru (Păduraru).
According to sources from Ukrainian Reality, the meeting discussed the issue of registering an independent Romanian church in Ukraine.
In the view of clergy from the Odessa and Izmail eparchies of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Romanians believe that if religious organizations connected with the Russian Orthodox Church are banned in Ukraine, priests from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church under the Moscow Patriarchate will not join the schismatic Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
Therefore, under current circumstances, the canonical Romanian Orthodox Church may attract priests from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church under the Moscow Patriarchate to its side.
