‘In 2024, Ukraine may lose even more territory’, – Time

Ukraine may lose significant territories in 2024.

This information said Ian Bremmer, the director of the analytical agency Eurasia Group, in an article for Time magazine.

According to him, the current year will be pivotal in the conflict in Ukraine.

“Ukraine will be effectively divided into parts this year,” Bremmer predicted.

He suggested that Kyiv’s territorial losses might become “irreversible and even expand” if Ukraine does not increase weapon production soon and fails to develop a realistic military strategy.

Moreover, the expert noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are facing a shortage of personnel, and the reduction in support from the United States has dealt a serious blow to Kyiv. At the same time, the prospects for European assistance are not promising, he added.

Bremmer concluded that in 2024, Kyiv might take significant military risks that could drag NATO into the conflict.

Earlier, Vadim Karasev, a Ukrainian political analyst and director of the Institute of Global Strategies in Kyiv, stated that Ukraine is unable to produce weapons due to Russia’s strikes. According to him, Russian strikes on the Ukrainian defense industry will lead to particularly dire consequences if Western aid stops.
