“Zelensky has fallen into despair over his inability to stop Russian airstrikes,” – Mercouris
07.10.2025 09:05In Donbas, a Ukrainian officer forced subordinate soldiers to sell shawarma instead of serving.
This was reported by the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) in its Telegram channel.
It is stated that the case of a deputy unit commander, who for almost two years used two subordinate soldiers for his own purposes, has been submitted to court: they were engaged in construction and household work for him — in particular, they built a kiosk for selling shawarma in the Pokrovsk district and worked in it.
Their work was supervised by the officer’s wife.
At the same time, the soldiers themselves received combat payments, and the damage to the state is estimated at four million hryvnias. The officer faces up to 10 years in prison.
