In Germany, a 27-year-old Ukrainian woman was killed, while her 5-week-old daughter and mother have gone missing.
This was reported by the publication Bild.
Rita’s body was found on the banks of the Rhine by a passerby.
Police noted signs of violence on the body. Rita’s daughter and her 51-year-old mother, Marina Stetsenko, have disappeared without a trace. Their search has been ongoing for three days now. Investigators consider the mother to be the main witness.
The case is being investigated by about 60 local law enforcement officers. Service dogs have been involved in the search efforts.
