“In Kamianets-Podilskyi, a university lecturer was mobilized after being deceived into going to the military recruitment office”, – MP said

A university teacher in Kamianets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi region, was mobilized by deception after being tricked into going to the military commissariat.

This was reported by Member of Parliament Georgiy Mazurashu.

According to him, the legislation contradicts the mobilization of employees from educational institutions who work on a certain number of hours.

“Just a few days ago, in Kamianets-Podilskyi, mobilizers took a teacher from near the dormitory who works part-time at the university. By deception. They saw his documents showing that he worked there. They told him to go to the territorial recruitment center because supposedly it was important to have a paper from the territorial recruitment center. Not only does the law say that these people cannot be mobilized, but they tricked him into the territorial recruitment center in Kamianets-Podilskyi, forced him to sign by deception. They sent him to a military medical commission, which he passed in 5-7 minutes. And on the second day, they sent him despite the fact that he is not subject to military service by mobilization,” said the MP.

Mazurashu also added that he is preparing an appeal to cancel the illegal decision.

“And usually, in these cases, the military responds: ‘Sorry, we can violate the law during mobilization, but we have no grounds to return this person,'” he clarified.

Earlier, Mazurashu stated that Ukraine’s military leadership considers itself “slave owners” when conducting a harsh mobilization.
