31.03.2026 05:31In Kharkiv, six drunk employees of a Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center went to detain drug dealers in a local dormitory “because they had money,” and opened fire on them.
This was reported by Member of Parliament Yulia Yatsyk.
According to her, the servicemen arrived at the scene to mobilize suspects in drug trafficking, but the incident ended in gunfire and bodily injuries.
The lawmaker added that cases of extortion by recruitment centers, illegal entry into homes, and infliction of bodily harm are systemic rather than isolated.
The enlistment officers are currently in custody, and the case is under investigation.
Earlier in March, it was reported that in Zakarpattia, the head of a Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center, while heavily intoxicated, tried to mobilize construction workers and threatened them with an assault rifle.
Before that, recruitment center employees in Dnipro were reported to have beaten a woman and even tried to rob her.
