In Kryvyi Rih, representatives of the territorial recruitment center targeted ‘ArcelorMittal,’ disrupting the production of Ukraine’s largest steel plant

Military commissioners from the Territorial Recruitment Center have targeted the “ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih” enterprise, Ukraine’s largest steel producer: previous morning, there was a mass inspection of military registration documents at the company’s entrances.

This was reported on the company’s Telegram-channel.

Due to the inspection, some employees were unable to reach work on time, which threatened production processes. Specifically, the actions of the Territorial Recruitment Center caused a delay in the shift, resulting in the shutdown of a key rolling production unit and financial losses for the company.

“ArcelorMittal” reminded that 3,000 of its employees are already serving in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 167 of whom have died, and stated that they consider the actions of the representatives of the Territorial Recruitment Center to be “demotivating and posing a threat to the further operation of the company’s production units.”

Recently, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine passed a resolution requiring businesses to immediately inform the Territorial Recruitment Centers about employees who refused to receive summonses or resigned.

Additionally, it was reported that the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine is developing a national program to train women as drivers of large vehicles, including trucks and buses, due to a shortage of men in the profession.
