20.11.2025 - 06:32Ukraine is rejecting U.S. President Donald Trump’s new peace plan and is demanding changes to it.
This is reported by the Financial Times.
“Officials in Kyiv who have reviewed the plan said it fully aligns with the Kremlin’s maximalist demands, adding that without substantial changes it will not be implemented in Ukraine,” the publication states.
Earlier, Axios wrote that Zelensky is dissatisfied with Trump’s plan and wants to discuss it again together with the Europeans.
The draft agreement stipulates that Russia will gain control over Donbas, where a demilitarized zone will be established.
At the same time, Zelensky has said that Kyiv supports “every strong and just proposal” by U.S. President Donald Trump aimed at ending the Russian–Ukrainian conflict.
Meanwhile, according to CNN, the U.S. Secretary of the Army and a Pentagon delegation have arrived in Ukraine to discuss ending the war.
