04.12.2025 12:01In Lviv, an employee of a Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TЦК и СП, military enlistment office) was stabbed to death during a document check.
This was reported by the press service of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to preliminary information, last night a 30-year-old Lviv resident, during an ID check at an intersection, inflicted a knife wound on a military commissar of the Halytskyi–Frankivskyi district recruitment center and, using pepper spray, fled the scene.
The wounded serviceman, who the prosecutor’s office says was an ATO veteran, was hospitalized with a critical injury to the femoral artery and soon died in hospital. The attacker has already been detained.
A criminal case has been opened on the charge of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm to a person in connection with his official duties, which resulted in the victim’s death.
Earlier, media reported that in Kremenchuk, a shooting occurred inside a recruitment center while a man was undergoing a military medical commission. According to reports, the man, who had been brought there by force, demanded to be released and threatened to use a weapon, and after being refused, opened fire on the enlistment officers. Two staff members were wounded in the incident.
In Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, a man opened fire on a recruitment center employee during a document check and then fled the scene.
