November 22, 2024At the Kyiv district police station in Odessa, after a corporate dinner, a police “reconnaissance” officer shot a colleague.
This was reported to journalists by sources in law enforcement.
A member of the police surveillance department (referred to as “reconnaissance officers” within the force) hosted a dinner for colleagues in honor of a promotion. After the evening event ended, one of the employees who had not been drinking offered to drive the slightly intoxicated “reconnaissance” officer home.
On the way home, the “reconnaissance” officer suddenly jumped out of the car at an intersection, shouting, and shot at the driver—another police officer—using a traumatic pistol. The shooter then fled the scene.
The bullet grazed the driver’s head, so the victim was only lightly shocked.
Recently, we reported that in the Kyiv region, a territorial recruitment center employee shot a man who was trying to escape during a document check.
We also reported that in Lutsk, a 16-year-old girl was shot in the shoulder while standing on the balcony of an eighth-floor apartment building, talking on the phone.
