28.10.2025 - 09:31In Odesa, a military commissar, a policeman, and representatives of a volunteer public organization attacked a serviceman who was moving with the help of an orthosis — a medical device used to support part of the body after an injury.
This was reported on Facebook by Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Oleksandr Hramarchuk.
According to him, one of the attackers was identified as a serviceman from the Prymorskyi District Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TRCC and SSC) of Odesa, and the police officer had a body camera turned on during the incident.
They allegedly attacked the soldier in central Odesa, sprayed him with pepper spray after verbally humiliating him, and then fled the scene.
After Hramarchuk’s post, the Odesa Regional TRCC and SSC stated on the same social network that it was “thoroughly studying the information” and conducting an internal investigation, although Hramarchuk insists that criminal proceedings should be initiated.
The TRCC also said that “information is being verified regarding the possible involvement of outside individuals who may have posed as members of volunteer formations.”
Interestingly, comments under this post were disabled.
It is worth noting that Odesa has long been involving civilians in mobilization activities.
