04.06.2024 - 22:48Tomorrow, June 5, Odessa plans to reduce the number of trolleybuses and trams on routes due to problems with the city’s electricity supply.
This information was reported by the municipal enterprise “Odesselektrans” on its Facebook page.
“Given the severe state of the energy sector caused by enemy attacks on the country’s energy complex, to reduce the load on the power system, from June 5, the municipal enterprise ‘Odesselektrans’ will significantly reduce the number of trams and trolleybuses on city routes,” the message said.
Meanwhile, today, due to the electricity deficit, the funicular in Kyiv was stopped.
It is also worth noting that emergency power outages have been introduced in seven regions due to the overconsumption of electricity. These restrictions will remain in place until consumption levels return within the previously set limits, allowing regional energy providers to revert to the established planned outage schedules.
As reported, today Ukraine experienced the most challenging situation in its power system in recent days.
According to the CEO of Yasno, Serhiy Kovalenko, the emergency outages faced by electricity suppliers today may continue if Ukrainians do not reduce the use of air conditioners.
