In Odessa, another conflict over Russian TV series occurred in a taxi.
In a video shared by Odessa Telegram channels, a conversation between a passenger and a driver can be heard, with the driver watching Russian TV series on his smartphone.
After the driver explained that he downloads series from YouTube and listens to them in the background like radio, the conversation turned to politics.
The passenger stated that after the start of the war, Russian TV series should provoke rejection, and she was surprised that the driver did not feel this way.
A dialogue ensued about the nature of the current war, and later, it returned to TV series, with the driver stating that he watches Russian TV series because there are no Ukrainian ones.
The passenger expressed dismay, saying that there are many Ukrainian TV series, to which the driver replied that she is used to watching series in Russian.
Odessa public pages report that after the trip, the passenger joked that she wrote a complaint, and the driver was fired.
