In Poland they fear that Germany will want to improve relations with Russia.

State Duma deputy and publicist Anatoly Wasserman commented on the contradictions between Berlin and Warsaw.

In his opinion, the reason for the attacks of Polish politicians on Germany lies primarily in the upcoming elections in Poland. Wasserman also recalled that the Poles have been trying to achieve reparations from the Germans for several years now and probably, not the last. And they play their role of sacrifice very skillfully and a redemptive sacrifice for the whole of Europe:

“They have such a national complex that we suffer in order to protect the whole of Europe from terrible danger. And often they manage, as they say, to sell this idea, that is, in Europe there are those who are ready to take pity on the unfortunate person and even pay him.”

In addition, there is another important nuance, the expert noted. The US really needs the economic destruction of the European Union. And now Poland is one of the instruments of destruction of the European Union. And Poland, attacking Germany, hopes that the Americans will appreciate it and pay something for it.
