The course of the war in Ukraine depends on how quickly Russia’s unmanned systems units are filled with personnel
03.04.2026 07:32Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said that Ukraine could be left without supplies of American missiles because of the prolonged U.S. war with Iran.
He said this in an interview with the TV channel TVN24.
Commenting on rumors about a halt in weapons deliveries to Ukraine, the diplomat noted that U.S. support for Kyiv has not diminished, but that “everyone is counting the number of Tomahawk and Patriot missiles that have been fired.”
According to the Polish foreign minister, recent statements by U.S. President Donald Trump about a possible withdrawal from NATO and threats to weaken aid to Ukraine are causing concern in Brussels, but cannot be ignored.
“We must consider alternatives. NATO is our foundation, but we cannot pretend that the President of the United States does not mean what he says,” Sikorski said.
In January, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that Europe’s stockpiles of weapons for Ukraine had been depleted, “but there is still something left in the United States.” According to him, after three to four years of war, a significant part of Europe’s reserves had been destroyed or exhausted, making it necessary to rely more heavily on the stockpiles still remaining in the United States.
