In the Sumy region, the Russian army is expanding its offensive zone with small assault groups.

This was stated by the spokesperson of the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, during a broadcast.

“The most active area is around the villages of Basivka and Zhuravka. But in recent days, we have seen that the enemy is trying to expand the areas where it uses this tactic. To the left of Zhuravka, it’s the direction of the villages of Vladimirovka and Veselivka,” Demchenko said.

He explained that the assaults are preceded by artillery shelling, drones, and air strikes.

Russia claims it has captured Bilovody and Vladimirovka in northern Sumy region.

Yesterday, Russian social media channels reported the capture of Bilovody. Ukraine has not confirmed this.  According to Deep State, fighting is ongoing in the village, and Vladimirovka has not yet been affected.
