07.04.2024 - 06:16The Ukrainian authorities intend to include not only men but also all women aged 18 to 60 in the electronic register of conscripts.
This follows from the text of the law signed by Volodymyr Zelensky this week.
Article 13 of the law stipulates that government agencies provide data to the registry about all citizens of Ukraine aged 18 to 60. In other words, the list of conscripts will include all women of the specified age as well.
However, the text states that the registry operators – the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Foreign Intelligence Service – will delete data on citizens who are not conscripts.

It is worth noting that in the law signed by Zelensky on the creation of the conscript’s electronic cabinet, a provision is laid out stating that the registry will collect various data on citizens without their consent, which was even criticized by the Main Scientific Expert Department of the Rada.
It should be noted that next week the Verkhovna Rada is expected to consider a high-profile bill on tightening mobilization in the second reading. The issue has already been included in the preliminary agenda for the plenary week of April 10-11.
