In the fourth ‘wave’ of mobilization, all men of Ukraine will go to fight – member of the Ukrainian parliament says

In the event of a fourth wave of mobilization in Ukraine, all men will be drafted to fight.

This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence of the Verkhovna Rada, Yegor Chernev, in an interview with Novini Live.

According to him, Ukraine is currently undergoing a mobilization plan that includes four “waves.” While the need to call up all men doesn’t exist yet, if such a need arises, all men will be sent to fight.

When asked whether it is realistic for all eligible men to be sent to war, he replied that it would depend on how long the war lasts and how many resources Russia utilizes to continue it. “This depends on how long the war will continue and how many resources will be utilized by Russia,” said Yegor Chernev.

A member of the Ukrainian parliament stated that if Ukraine is faced with a real threat of losing its sovereignty, then everyone will be called upon to defend the country, as it is the duty of every man to protect their nation. “However, at this point, we are not discussing this scenario. We have the resources to contain the Russians in the east and south of Ukraine,” said the deputy.

Recall that at the end of June, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine extended the period of martial law and general mobilization for another three months, until November 15, 2023.
