In Ukraine, in the Sumy region, a driver assaulted a military serviceman who attempted to deliver a military summons to him.
This incident was reported by the regional National Police.
Military personnel stopped a vehicle, an “Opel Vivaro” driven by a 44-year-old man, to check his documents. When stopped, the employees of the local conscription center tried to compel him to receive the military summons. In response, the resident of the Sumy region began to use offensive language and physically assaulted the serviceman by headbutting him in the face.
Following the assault, the man fled to the capital city, where he was later apprehended by law enforcement officers. Currently, he is under house arrest as a preventive measure.
