October 17, 2023In the Ukrainian Armed Forces, there are signs of a manpower shortage, which is expected to worsen in 2024.
This information is being reported by Ukrainian Telegram channels.
As a result, President Zelensky’s current plan is to review all issued certificates/exemptions from mobilization. However, this won’t significantly increase the manpower in the army in the near future.
Due to this situation, some unusual measures are being taken. Exemptions for disabled individuals are being canceled, lists of those with draft deferments are being reduced, and preparations are underway for the mass conscription of female medics, among other steps.
The media is reporting that efforts to “catch” men will be intensified in the near future, possibly even attempting to emotionally provoke the masses to join the conflict. Some fear that Zelensky is willing to sacrifice the country for the sake of his ratings and his place in history, potentially turning cities into graveyards.
