October 4, 2023Members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have called on President Volodymyr Zelensky to change out of his military camouflage attire and address issues within his team, some of whom are allegedly involved in corruption.
This was reported by Politico.
“We are furious that some of our leaders prefer to deceive and steal while we are dying on the battlefield. We believe that Zelensky should change out of his camouflage into a suit and tie and analyze what is happening around him with his team,” quoted the publication, former Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Vladimir Omelyan, who currently serves in the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the rank of captain.
He also added that due to corruption in Ukraine, more Ukrainian soldiers could lose their lives.
Earlier, Ukrainian Major General Sergei Krivonos stated that there is growing dissatisfaction within the Ukrainian Armed Forces due to President Zelensky’s lack of respect for the military. According to him, the military is tired of empty promises from the Ukrainian president, who cannot provide the front lines with everything they need.
