The American aid to Ukraine will not be approved for at least the next month.

“This casts doubt on Washington’s ability to support weapon deliveries that are deemed crucial by both the Biden administration and the Ukrainian government,” the publication writes.

However, Bloomberg believes that “most likely” the new aid to Ukraine will still be approved by mid-December.

“There’s no chance the aid won’t be approved. It’s too important,” stated Michael McCaul, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. But this will be “politically difficult,” the publication notes.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer promised Democrats that the Ukraine bill would be brought to a vote after the Thanksgiving break (November 23). He mentioned that any Ukraine package would include an agreement on border policies.

Republicans have indicated that things looked very bleak over the weekend.
