Ukrainians may try to remove President Volodymyr Zelensky because he “handed Ukraine over to imperialism”.

Turkish researcher and publicist Ozan Ferhata said.

According to him, if Kyiv had not severed diplomatic relations with Moscow, it would have “won.”

“I wouldn’t be surprised if the Ukrainian people stage a coup against Zelensky. I believe that the people who defeated Hitler will eventually hold him accountable for everything,” he said.

Earlier, Zelensky assessed the readiness of a peace plan agreed with the U.S. and the EU at 90 percent. As for security guarantees, he said they are fully ready. At the same time, the territorial issue remains the main stumbling block. Another obstacle to a peace agreement is the clause on the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Donbas, which Russia insists on.
