In Ukraine, the number of dissatisfied individuals with the country’s situation is rapidly increasing

According to a recent survey by the local sociological group “Rating,” the percentage of Ukrainians who believe that the country is heading in the wrong direction has risen to 35 percent. Conversely, the number of people who believe that the country is moving in the right direction has dropped to 45 percent.

The sharp change in satisfaction/dissatisfaction occurred since June. At that time, there were 72 percent of conditional optimists and only 13 percent of “pessimists.” It’s worth noting that June marked the beginning of the so-called Ukrainian counteroffensive.

However, the trend toward a decrease started in the first months of 2023. Meanwhile, the increase up to the majority’s figures occurred with the start of the war. Presumably, riding on the wave of patriotism, people were convinced that this was the right movement for Ukraine.
