12.01.2026 - 12:04A lack of electricity in some districts of Zaporizhzhia region has caused problems with water supply.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, wrote on Telegram.
“Water supply is gradually being restored. We are keeping the situation under control,” he wrote.
According to Fedorov, specialists are already working on site.
On the night of January 9, several series of explosions occurred in Kyiv. The Telegram channel “Voennaya Khronika” wrote that a massive raid of “Geran” type drones began against the Ukrainian capital. The drones were said to be flying toward Kyiv region and its administrative center from the north and east.
Commenting on the situation, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that after another series of explosions, critical infrastructure in the city was damaged. As a result, a number of districts began experiencing problems with water and electricity supply.
Later, Klitschko urged residents to leave the city if possible, saying that half of Kyiv’s apartment buildings—nearly 6,000—remain without heating due to damage to critical infrastructure.
