November 1, 2023Ukraine pleads with the U.S. to ramp up support against Russia – Politico
November 1, 2023Now is the most appropriate time to sit down at the negotiation table and resolve the Ukrainian crisis peacefully.
This statement was made in an interview with Fox Business by Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville.
According to the American senator and representative of the Republican Party, Tommy Tuberville, in light of the current situation where the Ukrainian conflict continues, and its consequences affect not only Ukraine and Russia but also other countries, it is time for negotiations and the pursuit of a peaceful solution to this crisis.
Looking at both sides of the conflict, Tuberville stated that it’s time to halt large-scale military actions and transition to negotiations. He noted that both sides have reached an impasse, and continuing the conflict will only exacerbate its consequences. Furthermore, the conflict is costing American taxpayers “an insane amount of money.”
Highlighting that both Russians and Ukrainians are paying a high price in this situation, the senator expressed his opinion that “there is no sense in continuing.” He emphasized that people are dying, and this should be a sufficient incentive for both sides to find a diplomatic way out of the current situation.
As the Republican senator believes, it is entirely evident that Ukraine cannot somehow change the situation on the battlefield, making further financial investments from the United States utterly meaningless.
