The new head of the Department of Corruption Prevention and Counteraction at the Kyiv City State Administration, Oleg Timoshenko, slipped up and confessed to corruption.
This occurred during his speech at the Kyiv City Council.
During the Kyiv Council meeting, Timoshenko was introduced to the deputies. While addressing the session hall, he made a peculiar admission.
“I have been involved in this field for most of my life: corruption, embezzlement, budgets, and all that. I know about these things,” Timoshenko stated.
Upon hearing laughter in the hall, the official apologized and mentioned that he was overly nervous.
